Srimad Bhagavad Gita – Yoga of Works
As a part of a course on Indian Psychology titles ‘SVAPARICHAYAM’ organized by the alumni of Indian Psychology (IPI), Pondicherry, Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited to facilitate a session on Srimad Bhagavad Gita – Yoga of Works. The session took place on the 3rd of September and was attended by around 25 registered participants. It was a highly interactive and engaging session in which Dr. Mishra explained about the how the action should be performed with the right attitude, by being connected with one’s one inmost being.
Reminiscing Rishi Sri Aurobindo Post Covid
On 5th of September Dr Sampadananda Mishra was invited by the Dept. Philosophy, Prabhu Jagabandhu College, Howra, West Bengal to deliver a lecture on ‘Reminiscing Rishi Sri Aurobindo Post Covid’. The program was organized as a part of the Annual Departmental Program for celebrating Teacher’s Day. Dr. Mishra in his lecture explained about the relevance of Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga in the present situation. Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga is a Yoga of Transformation. In a practical sense when we grow more and more conscious of ourselves we come in contact with the inmost being of ourselves and that is the Divine element in us which not only knows what is needed for our wellbeing it provides the strength and show us the right path and how to walk on that path. Once we are in a position to be in touch with it, we have the solution to all our problems.
The program was attended by above hundred participants including students, teachers and general public from various parts of India.
Wisdom of Vedas: Relevance in Modern Leadership
As a part of its Vision and Mission, Chinamy Vishva Vidyapeetha, Kerala had organized a session on ‘Wisdom of Vedas: relevance in modern leadership’ on 13 of September that was facilitated by Dr. Sampadananda Mishra. The aim of entire workshop of which Dr. Mishra’s was one of the many sessions by other experts, was to provide an ideal platform for candidates who wished to prepare for a doctoral degree on interdisciplinary study and research. The workshop was inaugurated on 5 September 2020 and would continue up to 20 December 2020. The session was participated by around thirty students. Dr. Mishra explained about the principles of Leadership in the Veda and also explained what the true meaning of research is and how to carry out research in a Vedic sense. Dr. Mishra expounded on the idea of true research by explaining the esoteric meaning of the word gaveshana as it appears in the Rigvedic legend of the Angirasa Rishis and the lost cows.
Aim of Integral Education and our Responsibilities
A special talk was arranged by the Sri Aurobindo Study Circle, Navarangpur District, Odisha on 13th September in which Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Aim of Integral Education and our Responsibilities’. The talk was delivered in Odia and was attended by hundreds of devotees in Odisha. Dr. Mishra focusing the true principles of Integral Education of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and its practical implementation said that each teacher must know true purpose of being a teacher and impart the education accordingly. It is expected that the children who are a part of the Integral education system must grow in a spiritual environment.
The session was attended by above hundred people from various parts of Odisha.

As a part of the fifty hours Foundation course on Yoga Dr. Sampadananda Mishra facilitated two sessions on the fourfold social order, fourfold stages of life, fourfold aims of life in the light of Sri Aurobindo 15th and 16th of September.
Sri Aurobindo Society – A Platform to Work for the Divine
The Hindi Zone Committee of Sri Aurobindo Society, in collaboration with SAFIC initiated a monthly Spiritual Satsanga in which every month an eminent speaker will be invited to speak on a relevant topic related to the Life and Teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. The inaugural session of this took place on 19 September which is also the Foundation Day of Sri Auorbindo Society. On this day Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited to speak on how Sri Aurobindo Society of which the Mother is the permanent Executive President is itself a organization where one feels privileged to be part of it to do one’s sadhana by working for Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Dr. Mishra, by narrating few of his personal experiences explained how fortunate one feels by working for the Master and the Mother. Dr. Mishra also explained the details of the 150 Years Celebration and the two years program that has been conceived to express infinite gratitude to Sri Aurobindo for all that He has done for the liberation of the entire humanity. The session was attended by most members of Hindi one Committee of Sri Aurobindo Society.
Integral Humanism in the Light of Sri Aurobindo
Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited by the ReThink India Organisation to deliver a lecture on Integral Humanism in the Light of Sri Aurobindo. This was organized as a part of the 105th birth anniversary of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay. The occasion also conferred Shrimati Sushama Swaraj Stree Shakti Samman on many eminent and dynamic women personalities who have been tirelessly working in their own ways and capacities for the development of the Nation. Dr. Mishra delivered the inaugural speech in which he explained Sri Aurobindo’s vision of ideal of human unity, individual perfectibility and collective perfectibility. The program took place on 25th September from 3 to 6 pm.
True Aim of Life
On 26 September Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited Sanskriti University, Mathura to deliver a lecture on ‘True Aim of Life’ for the students and faculties of the university. Around three hundred participants were present during the deliberation. Dr. Mishra explained that what people usually understand by aim of life is not truly aim but can serve means to achieve the true aim of life which is to move forward on the path progress and realize one’s own perfection that lies within each one. The Power of Mantra in the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother
On 26 September, as a part of its monthly program, Sri Aurobindo Yoga Foundation of North America had organized a special lecture program in which Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited to deliver a talk on ‘The Power of Mantra in the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother’. The attendees were from various parts of the globe and in this Dr. Mishra explained about how the Divine who is present in everything and being in the form of a core vibration is all pure and all powerful and all silence. To help the mind to become free from its chaotic nature and enter into the state of silence is the chief function of a Mantra and therein lies the power of Mantra. Sri Aurobindo and the Mother have given much importance to the mantras and also have given us some very significant mantras which have the power of transformation. Dr. Mishra said the very name of Sri Aurobindo is a mantra and so of the Mother. When we do the practice of the Mantra with purity in purpose, sincerity and devotion we mantras reveal their immense power.
After the talk and question and answer session Dr. Mishra was asked to explain about the detailed plan and program that he with his team members has conceived for the 150 years celebration of Sri Aurobindo in 2022.
Celebrating 150 Years of Sri Aurobindo
On 27 September Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited by the Sri Aurobindo Centers at Mebourne and Sydney, Australia to give a brief about the two year plan and program that he, along with his team members, is convening for celebrating the 150 years of Sri Aurobindo and 75 years of India’s Independence. The members were very happy to learn about the depth and variety and the quality of the program conceived for the celebration of the historic event which is going to happen in 2022.
Psychic Being: The Master of Life
On 28 September Dr. Sampadananda Mishra was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Psychic Being- the Master of Life’ at Prestige Institute of Management and Research as a part of its consciousness studies program. This was organized in collaboration with the Sri Aurobindo Society branch, Indore. Addressing the participants of in the webinar Dr. Mishra explained what is Psychic Being, what is its role in the evolutionary journey of human beings, and how it holds the central place in Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga. The inmost being that is at the center of each human being and that which is ever conscious of the Divine is the Psychic Being or the soul in evolution which must come to the front to lead the Mind, Life and the Body. The transformation of these limited instruments is possible by the emergence of the Psychic. This grows lives after lives carrying the past experiences and evolves by purifying its own instruments through which it grows from a spark to a full flame. Its emergence is possible only when one is in constant contact with it, listens to its voice and heeds to its dictations.
From Man-animal to Man-Divine – The Growth of Human Consciousness
Sri Aurobindo Society, Varanasi in collaboration with Arya Mahila PG College, Varanasi had organized a Satsanga with Dr. Sampadananda Mishra on 28 September. The topic on which Dr. Mishra was requested to deliver his talk was ‘From Man-animal to Man-Divine – The Growth of Human Consciousness’. Above hundred participants were present during the talk in which Dr. Mishra explained about the various stages of consciousness starting from its shrunken to fully manifest state. Dr. Mishra said the as long as the man is bound by his limited consciousness and works out everything from that level he is pashu or bound and limited. The highest purpose his life is to rise above from all limitations and live in the vastness of his consciousness. There lies the happiness and peace and love and light and the truth. By rising to that level of consciousness, living in that consciousness and working out everything from that state of consciousness, man can liberate himself from all that is binding and find true solutions to the problems of his life and can help the growth of the collective consciousness.
Practicing Integral Yoga in Everyday Life
On 29 September, Online Divine Grace Study Circle, Odisha, organsied a special talk by Dr. Sampadananda Mishra on Practice of Integral Yoga in Everyday Life. Above hundred people from various parts of Odisha were present in this talk in which Dr. Mishra, through practical examples explained about the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and its practice in day to life. Understanding the whole process of involution and evolution, Psychic Being as the leader of the progressive evolution of human being, the triple formula of aspiration-rejection-surrender, all these were explained a in a simple way by Dr. Mishra.
