Integral Education and Teacher Leadership
SAFIC designs and conducts workshops, courses and individualized research and study programs in various aspects of Integral Education and Teacher Leadership.
Some of our recent programs in this area are:
- Orientation for M.Ed students from Pondicherry University (July 29, 2019)
- National Workshop on Introduction to Integral Education, co-organised with School of Education, Pondicherry University (March 25-26, 2019)
- Teacher Leadership Retreat for Seth M R Jaipuria School (April 17-20, 2019)
- Individualized research guidance in Integral Education for an M.Ed. a student from Pondicherry University (ongoing)
Sanskrit Teacher Training
Since the year 2007, SAFIC has been conducting yearly Teacher Training programs for the Sanskrit teachers of Seth M R Jaipuria School, Lucknow.
The most recent Sanskrit Teacher Training was organized during March 5-7, 2019. It was designed to train 25 newly appointed Sanskrit teachers (Classes 1-5) to make them familiar with the Devabhasa curriculum. Topics covered included discussions on the pedagogy, the lessons in the textbooks and the content delivery mechanism.
Sanskrit teachers from many schools in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Hyderabad have also undergone similar training programs offered by SAFIC.
