On 18 September, SAFIC in association with Rashtram School of Public Leadership organized a webinar on Sri Aurobindo’s educational philosophy and its relevance in the context of New Education Policy. Prof. Madan Thangavelu from the University of Cambridge, Shri Sraddhalu Ranade from Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Dr. Ajit Sabnis from Sri Aurobindo Complex Trust, Bangalore were the panelists who were invited to speak on the topic. The session was moderated by Mr. Sahil Agrawal, a co-founder of Rashtram School of Public Leadership. The program was compered by Dr. Gunjan from Rashtram School of Leadership.
The program started with Dr. Sampadananda Mishra explaining the aims and objectives of the webinar then Mr Sahil Agrawal took it forward by inviting the guest panelists who offered many insights and new information about the relevance of Sri Aurobindo’s Educational principles and philosophy and their relevance to the present system of education. Nearly three hundred and fifty participants had registered for the this session which was also streamed live on the Facebook page of SAFIC. The program ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Gunjan.
