Siliguri is going to organize a Webinar to commemorate International Yoga Day 2020

sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi on 2nd  July, 2020 from 11am to 1 pm.

Dr. Mishra was invited to speak on the ‘Relevance of the Yoga of the Gita during the present Situation’ in National Webinar on’ Relevance of Yoga during the COVID-19 Pandemic’, sponsored by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research under MHRD, Government of India, New Delhi on 8th July, 2020 at 6.00p.m.-9.00p.m. This was  organised by the Department of Philosophy, Prabhat Kumar College, Contai,Purba Medinipur West Bengal.

On 11 July 2020 Dr. Mishra was invited by Damaru Yoga Studio, Ahemdabad to speak on Suparajanananam – Ancient Wisdom for Conscious Conception and Pregnancy. This was organized as a part of the Bilva Yoga Festival that Damaru organizes every year.

On 12 July Dr. Mishra was invited the Matru Academy, Odisha, to speak on the Relevance of Vedic System of Education. The lecture was delivered in Odia.

Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, Director, SAFIC was invited as a resource person in 05 Days Online National Workshop on Educational Philosophy & Psychology in Sanskrit Vangmay 

from20 to 24 July 2020. The program was  Organized by Teaching Learning Centre (TLC)  Under PMMMNMTT scheme, MHRD, Govt. of India Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University (Central University), New Delhi. Dr. Mishra delivered a lecture on Vedic System of Education and its Relevance. Around 175 participants to part in the this. Dr. Mishra highlighted the various components of education as it happened in Ancient India: The aim of education, the teacher, the students, the content, the content delivery mechanism and the outcome of the education system. Dr. Mishra emphasized that everything connected to the education must be organized around the idea of atmanam vidhi model of the seers and sages of the past. That alone can make the education fruitful.

Dr. Mishra was invited to deliver a talk on “Managing Life in Crisis – Insights from the Yoga Tradition of India”. The event was organized by the Barasat Government Government College, West Bengal. This Webinar titled PSYCHO-SPIRITUAL SYMBIOSIS: A WELL BEING TOOL FOR THE NEW NORMAL was sponsored by ICPR.
