RANJANA SWAIN

Prior to joining SAFIC, Ranjana worked for several years at Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch, where she attended and taught at many residential yoga programmes. For International Yoga Day, her Yogasana and Pranayama demonstration was also shown in a TV programme on Doordarshan National channel. She also worked as a pre-primary teacher at MatriKiran School in Gurgaon. Always interested in learning new things and growing through challenges, Ranjana believes mindfulness at the workplace is key to success. She continues to grow and develop her interests in yoga, meditation, mindfulness exercises, dancing, and working with small children.

R. Rajkumari
R. Rajkumari coordinates and manages all teaching and other administrative matters concerning the Sanskrita Balaparivara Yojana, which is an important initiative of SAFIC.

Before joining SAFIC, R. Rajkumari worked as Sanskrit teacher at Sri Shankara Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School. Born and brought up in Chennai, she came into contact with Samskrita Bharati through her father, which added a whole new dimension to her education and overall learning. She attended several study camps which emphasised spoken Sanskrit, and also underwent training to conduct spoken Sanskrit classes. She has conducted many 10-day courses spoken Sanskrit in and around Chennai. She has also served as a full-time worker for Samskrita Bharati in Mettupalayam near Ooty. Rajkumari’s other professional experience includes working as a Sanskit teacher at Vivekananda Vidya Kala Ashram, a residential school situated in the outskirts of Chennai managed by the Vivekananda Educational Society. While teaching there, she also completed her M.A degree in Sanskrit at Rastriya Vidya Peetham, Tirupati, which earned her the title of Acharya. She has also completed a Teacher Training course from Madurai.
